Something New Has Been Added!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Denny. I'm twenty-four years old. I live with my wife, dog, and roommate Josh in an apartment in Atlanta. I have two software development companies [1, 2]. I have a personal relationship with God.

My wife April is four years younger than me. We have been married for two years. Our parents have known each other since before we were born. Her mom used to baby-sit me when I was an infant. Oddly enough, April and I had never met until about four years ago. She was sixteen and I was twenty. I stopped hitting on her when I found out her age.

About a year later I kissed her. About a year after that we were married.

My dog's name is Dee Dee. She's a disobedient lab/beagle mix. I have to take her on a walk three times a day or she craps in Josh's room.

Which brings us to Josh. The first thing people notice about Josh is that he's in a wheelchair. This wasn't always the case. A few years ago, Josh had a dirt bike accident that left him in the wheelchair. I've known Josh well before that -- Since we were in high school.

Most of my time is spent on the computer doing this or that. I'm an avid programmer, these days working mostly with the .Net Framework. I love my job. I particularly like working on web-based applications because they're so challenging. You don't just develop in one language, but many... JavaScript, VB.Net, C#, HTML, etc.

I was raised in a Christian household. My parents raised me in The Way International biblical research, teaching and fellowship ministry, but I didn't really make the Word my own until about five years ago when I went on a six month outreach program to Columbus, Ohio.

That should give you a pretty good idea of where I'm coming from.

Hey there kid. Nice to see you start a blog. It's funny though, mine is called a blog, but its much more of a journal than anything. I guess the only way to differentiate is that I have a tendency to get quite personally, especially when I'm pissed. lol. Anyway, if you wanted, I could set you up with a wordpress blog with lets you do a bunch of customizing and keeps your posts in a SQL DB.. I'm sure it supports MSSQL.
